Parma Calcio 1913, better known simply as Parma, is a football club based in the city of the same name in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It currently plays in the Serie A, the top tier of Italian football.
It is the successor association of the original Parma Football Club refounded in 2004, which in turn was the heir of Parma Associazione Calcio and of the historic Parma Associazione Sportiva founded on 16 December 1913. The current club was constituted on 28 June 2015 under the legal name Società Sportiva Dilettantica Parma Calcio 1913 after the previous entity disappeared under legal and managerial directives owing to its bankruptcy.
It is considered one of the historic clubs of the country across the Alps, occupying fifteenth place in the all-time table of the Serie A. In it, it has played a total of twenty-five seasons, its best performance being the 1996-97 season, in which it finished runner-up. Its honours include three Coppa Italia titles, one Supercoppa Italiana and four international titles: one European Cup Winners' Cup, two UEFA Cups and one UEFA Super Cup. It is thus the fourth most decorated Italian club at UEFA continental level and the fifteenth in Europe.
