San Martín de San Juan

Club Atlético San Martín is a football team from San Juan, in San Juan Province (Argentina), which currently plays in the Primera Nacional, the second division of Argentine football.
It was founded on 27 September 1907 and is popularly known as El Verdinegro or El Santo. It is the team with the most championships in the local tournament of San Juan Province.
It plays its home matches at the Estadio Ingeniero Hilario Sánchez, a stadium that the club owns, but on occasion it plays at the Estadio del Bicentenario, which belongs to the Province of San Juan. Although its main sporting activity is football, hockey, volleyball and others are also practised at this institution. Its fans are popularly known as La Banda del Pueblo Viejo.
Owing to all its achievements, this team is considered the greatest in the province of San Juan, as it is the only one from this province that has been able to beat all of the so-called big clubs of Argentine football.
