Brescia Calcio

Brescia Calcio was an Italian football club from Brescia, in the region of Lombardy. It was founded on 17 July 1911 and competed for several seasons in Serie A and Serie B, but on 6 June 2025 it was excluded from professional competitions because of unsustainable financial problems, leading to its subsequent disappearance.

During its more than one hundred years, the Brescia club won four Serie B titles (1964-65, 1991-92, 1996-97 and 2018-19), as well as two titles in non-confederation international competitions, the Coppa dell'Amicizia in 1967 and the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1994.

The Albiazules (the white-and-blues) hold the record for the most seasons in Serie B with a total of 66, and for the longest consecutive spell in the category, with 18 straight seasons between 1947 and 1965. It played in Serie A 23 times, its best result being eighth place in the 2000-01 edition. In official international competitions it played the UEFA Intertoto Cup twice, finishing as runners-up in the 2001 cup.

The club played its home matches at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, opened in 1959, with a capacity of 27,592 spectators. Its greatest rivals were Atalanta, with whom it contested the Derby Lombardo, and Hellas Verona, a rivalry known as the Garda Derby.
