Mannucci

Club Social y Deportivo Carlos A. Mannucci, known as Carlos Mannucci or simply Mannucci, is a Peruvian football club, founded on 16 November 1959 in the city of Trujillo, La Libertad. From the 2025 season it will take part in the Liga 2, the second tier of national football. It played its first international tournament in 2021.

Its years in the top category of Peruvian football earned it the sympathy of the fan base of Trujillo and La Libertad, and it is the local club with the most seasons in that category, which is why it is considered the team with the greatest tradition and popular roots in Trujillo, something partly reflected in the popular phrase "Trujillo es Mannucci", very common in advertising.

It is also considered one of the most important and traditional clubs of the north of the country, contesting the so-called "Clásico del Norte Peruano" with Juan Aurich of Chiclayo, in which the tricolor side holds the historical advantage.

Its classic and historic city rival is Alfonso Ugarte de Chiclín, with whom it played the "Clásico Trujillano", a status it earned after the series of matches played in the Copa Perú, which ended up being the direct rival of the Chiclín side. At present, Mannucci is playing in the Segunda División del Perú, while Alfonso Ugarte is in the Liga Distrital de Trujillo.
