Deportivo Municipal

Club Centro Deportivo Municipal, known as Deportivo Municipal, or simply Municipal, is a Peruvian football team from the city of Lima, which plays its home matches in the district of Chorrillos. It was founded on 27 July 1935 and since 2025 has taken part in the Liga 3, the third national division, after being relegated because of administrative problems.

The club won four Primera División titles in the amateur era (Lima-Callao) in 1938, 1940, 1943 and 1950, placing fifth in the all-time honours list of the Peruvian Primera División, in addition to a league cup in 1993. It is one of the traditional Peruvian teams and has a historic rivalry with Universitario de Deportes, with whom it contested the "Clásico Moderno" in the 1930s and 1940s, because that was a period in which both teams played a leading role and were the two clubs that contested the most titles in the decade. It also has important rivalries with Alianza Lima, Sporting Cristal and Sport Boys.
