Club de Fútbol Ciudad de Murcia S.A.D. was a football club from Spain, from the town of Murcia, in the Region of Murcia. It was founded in 1999 and disappeared when its chairman, Enrique Pina, sold all the club's shares to a businessman who owned Granada 74, who moved the club's registered office to the city of Granada and changed its name to Granada 74 CF (a team that also disappeared in 2009). It was refounded by Evedasto Lifante and the fans as "Club Atlético Ciudad de Lorquí" (later Club Atlético Ciudad). After three seasons, this club also disappeared because of financial problems. In 2010 the Club de Accionariado Popular Ciudad de Murcia was created, which is owned by the fans, something innovative in Spain.
