Montevideo City Torque, originally founded under the name Club Atlético Torque in 2007, is a Uruguayan football club based at Roque Graseras 694, in the Punta Carretas neighborhood of the city of Montevideo.
On 6 April 2017 the club's conversion into a sports public limited company and its purchase by City Football Group were confirmed. In this way, the club joined the conglomerate that includes Manchester City, New York City, Melbourne City, Girona, Bahia and Yokohama Marinos, and other clubs that are also owned by this group or in which it holds a stake. On 22 January 2020 it was renamed and took its current name.
In 2025 it will compete in the Primera División de Uruguay, after being promoted in the 2024 Uruguayan Segunda División championship.
