Club Deportivo Puertollano was a Spanish football team from the city of Puertollano (Ciudad Real). This club was founded on 24 September 1948 under the name Club de Fútbol Calvo Sotelo, the second most important team in Castilla-La Mancha after Albacete; among its highlights are the 11 seasons the Ciudad Real side spent in the Segunda División, and the greatest success of the club, playing a promotion play-off in which it was eliminated by Córdoba CF in the spring of 1968.

It played in Group XVIII of the Tercera División, ceasing to exist legally as a sporting entity on 15 May 2015, after the members rejected in assembly the unanimous adoption of the agreement with creditors that could have reversed the dissolution and liquidation order of the company, decreed by the Commercial Court of Ciudad Real. The members thus approved the extinction of the entity in order to refound it from scratch in the Segunda Autonómica with the federation number of its sports school, as Club Deportivo Básico Calvo Sotelo de Puertollano, which would later be renamed Calvo Sotelo de Puertollano Club de Fútbol. Between 2015 and 2018 it managed to recover national category by being promoted through the three regional categories, being champion with 70, 76 and 84 points.
