Gençlerbirliği Spor Kulübü ("Youth Union") is a football club from Turkey, from the city of Ankara. It currently plays in the Turkish Super League, the country's top division.

It was founded in 1923 by secondary school students who, not having been selected by the school, had the father of one of them (who was a deputy for the province of Muş) found the team so that they could play. They played against their school's team and won 3–1, thus creating a legend. From there they won the Ankara League 10 times and entered the Turkish Super League in 1959. From then on they struggled to stay in the top flight, and from 1989 to 2018 they have remained there. Their best league seasons were 1965/1966 and 2002/2003, in the latter of which they qualified for the UEFA Cup, where they reached the quarter-finals, losing to Valencia CF. They have had numerous presidents, as they were elected every year, but since 2016 the post has been held by Murat Cavcav.
