Dundee Football Club is a football club from Scotland, based in the city of Dundee. The club was founded in 1893 and plays its home matches at Dens Park. Its traditional colours are a dark blue shirt, white shorts and dark blue socks. It competes in the Scottish Premiership, the top tier of Scottish football.
The club's honours include one league title, won in the 1961–62 season, and one Scottish Cup, which it won in 1909–10. Its best result in European competition was reaching the semi-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1962–63 and of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1967–68, being eliminated by AC Milan and Leeds United respectively. The club's traditional rival is Dundee United, also based in the city. Their grounds are just a few metres from each other and are the second-closest professional football stadiums in the world.
