The Centro Cultural y Deportivo El Tanque Sisley, better known as "El Tanque Sisley", is a football club from the city of Montevideo. It is the product of the merger, on 15 December 1981, of Club Atlético El Tanque (a football club founded on 17 March 1955) and Centro Cultural y Deportivo Sisley (a basketball club founded on 16 April 1941). On 16 April 2021, the club celebrated the 80th anniversary of the former Centro Cultural y Deportivo Sisley, referring to the founding date of the latter.
The green-and-black side has won nine Uruguayan lower-division football championships (four of the Segunda División Profesional, two of the Liga Metropolitana Amateur and of the Divisional Extra "A", and, on one occasion, the Divisional Extra "B").
In 2017 it took part in the Campeonato Uruguayo for the eighth season in its history, staying in that division for the following season after winning a play-off against Sud América. However, the club was unable to play in the 2018 Campeonato Uruguayo de Primera División because it had not settled debts owed to its players, and as a result it was automatically relegated to the 2019 Segunda División. Since the problem was not resolved, the club did not take part in that championship either. It is currently trying to overcome these financial difficulties in order to take part in the Tercera División.
Internationally, it took part in the 2013 Copa Sudamericana, where it was eliminated in the first round by Colo-Colo of Chile.
