Torino Football Club, known simply as Torino or abbreviated as il Toro, is an Italian football club from the city of Turin, capital of the Piedmont region. The team plays in Serie A, the top category of professional football in Italy. The club's traditional colors are granata (maroon) and white.

Founded as Foot-Ball Club Torino in 1906, it is among the most successful clubs in Italy with seven league titles, including five consecutive league titles (a record also held by Juventus and Internazionale) in the era of the Grande Torino, widely recognized as one of the strongest teams of the 1940s. That entire team died in the Superga air disaster in 1949. It has also won the Coppa Italia five times, the last of which was in the 1992-93 season. Internationally, Torino won the Mitropa Cup in 1991 and was a finalist in the 1991-92 UEFA Cup.

Torino plays all its home matches at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, formerly known as the Stadio Comunale. The club's symbol and crest is a rampant bull, the traditional symbol of the city of Turin, from which it derives its nickname, Il Toro. The club maintains a historic rivalry with Juventus, the most decorated team in Italian football, with whom it contests the Turin derby.
