Gamba Osaka (ガンバ大阪 Ganba Ōsaka?) is a Japanese football club from the city of Osaka. It was founded in 1980 by the Panasonic group, which is the club's sponsor and main owner, together with three other companies. Gamba Osaka's traditional colors are blue and black. It plays in the J1 League and plays its home matches at Suita Football Stadium.

The team was one of the ten founding clubs of the J. League, with the city of Suita as its home ground, using the stadium built for the first-category Osaka World Exposition (1970). The name is a play on the Japanese word ganbaru (頑張る), which means "to strive" or "to try one's best". The shape of the territory comprising Osaka Prefecture, which curiously resembles a foot and ankle, also influenced the name.

The club is considered in Japan as the most important in the whole Kansai region, which also includes clubs such as Cerezo Osaka, Vissel Kobe and Kyoto Sanga. It is regarded as one of the country's big clubs, contesting the "National Derby" against Urawa Red Diamonds and the Osaka Derby against its southern neighbor Cerezo Osaka.
