NK Kamen Ingrad Velika

NK Kamen Ingrad was a football team from Croatia that played in the Prva HNL, the country's top football league.

It was founded in 1918 in the village of Velika, in the north-east of the country, under the name NK Velika, which was changed after the Second World War to NK Papuk, used until 1999, when it was changed to the current name, when the main sponsor built a company in the town under the name Kamen Ingrad.

It had its first season in the Prva HNL in 2002, in which it was unable to become champion, nor did it win the Cup title.

At international level it took part in 2 continental tournaments, where its best participation was in the 2004/05 Intertoto Cup, in which it was eliminated in the second round by Spartak Moscow of Russia.

Several financial difficulties caused problems for the main sponsor, which were reflected in the team's performance, and it was relegated to the Treća HNL in 2008. In mid-2008, they announced that they would not play that season, and subsequently closed operations completely.

The team NK Papuk was born that year, formed from what remained of Kamen Ingrad, but legally they are separate teams, although they seek to be recognised as the successor team.
