Vasas Sport Club is a Hungarian football club from the city of Budapest, founded on 16 March 1911 as part of the sports society Vas- és Fémmunkások Sport Clubja (Iron and Metal Workers' Sports Club), as it was established by members of the Hungarian Steelworkers' Association. Vasas, in Hungarian, means "ferrous", "of iron". It currently competes in the NB1, the top category of Hungarian football.

The club's honours include six league championships, four Hungarian cups and seven Mitropa Cups, making it the most successful club in this defunct European tournament. Vasas experienced its golden age in the late 1950s and early 1960s with the coach Rudolf Illovszky, who built one of the most powerful teams in Hungarian football at that time. The club's colours are red and blue and its sports facilities are based in Angyalföld, in the 13th district of Budapest. The football team plays its home matches at the Stadion Rudolf Illovszky.

Due to the support the club has had from the working classes, and in particular the help that Vasas SC received from the communist government, the club is still regarded as a politically left-wing club. However, in recent years the club has shown an openness to the expression of all kinds of political ideas.
