Dinamo Moscow (in Russian: Футбольный клуб Динамо Москва, Futbol'nyy Klub Dynamo Moskva) is the football section of the multi-sport society Dinamo Moscow of Moscow, the capital of Russia, which in the Soviet era was affiliated with the MVD and the Soviet police. It was founded in 1923 by Felix Dzerzhinsky and currently plays in the Russian Premier League.

Dynamo has won eleven Soviet league titles, six Soviet Cups and one Russian Cup. It is the oldest club in Russia and was the only one that had always played in the top competition of Soviet football (it shared this honour with Dynamo Kyiv) until 20 May 2016, when for the first time in its history it lost its top-flight status and was relegated to the second division. In 1972 it reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, which it lost to Rangers FC, its greatest international achievement. Even so, it has never won the current Russian Premier League. The club's kit is blue and white, while its badge is the traditional Cyrillic "D". The club's motto, "energy in motion", was proposed by Maxim Gorky, the famous Soviet author who was an active member of the Dinamo sports society.

On 10 April 2009, VTB Bank acquired 74% of the club's shares, becoming the owner of the club, and was one of the groups that financed the construction of the club's new stadium, the VTB Arena, which opened on 6 July 2019. In December 2016 the club returned to being owned by the Dinamo society. Previously, Dinamo played for 80 years at the Dynamo Stadium and at the Arena Khimki before moving to the Lev Yashin Stadium.
