Inter Bratislava

FK Inter Bratislava is a football club from Slovakia based in Bratislava. Originally founded in 1940 as ŠK Apollo Bratislava, the club has gone through numerous reorganisations, mergers and name changes during the Czechoslovak and Slovak periods. Historically it is associated with the colours yellow and black and with one of the most important football traditions of the Slovak capital. Since the 2025–26 season it competes once again in the second national category, known for sponsorship reasons as MONACObet liga.

Throughout its history, the sporting structures that led to Inter won two championships of the top category of independent Slovakia, six editions of the Slovak Cup and the 1969 Mitropa Cup. The attribution to Inter of the results obtained by Červená Hviezda Bratislava during the 1950s and early 1960s — including the 1958–59 Czechoslovak championship — is the subject of a question of historical continuity, owing to the reorganisations that affected the club in 1962.
