Unión de Villa Krause

Club Atlético Unión is an Argentine football team from the city of Villa Krause, Rawson, in San Juan Province. It was founded on 12 October 1964 and is known by the nickname El Azul ("The Blue").

The club has taken part in several national tournaments organised by the Argentine Football Association (AFA), such as the Primera B Nacional, the Copa Argentina, the Torneo Federal A, the Torneo Argentino A, the Torneo Argentino B, the Torneo del Interior and the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. In regional competition it plays in the Liga Sanjuanina de Fútbol.

It plays its official matches at its stadium, 12 de Octubre, better known as El 12.

Its supporters are known as the Famosa Banda de Unión.

Because it belongs to the Rawson Department, it has a fierce rivalry with Club Atlético Trinidad of the city of Rawson, which gave rise to the Clásico de Rawson. It also has a fierce rivalry with Club Sportivo Desamparados and Club Atlético San Martín (San Juan), the three most popular teams in the province of San Juan. Another of El Azul's rivalries is with Atlético Club San Martín from the neighbouring province (Mendoza), the Cuyo team it has faced most often.

After being relegated from the Federal A and following the abolition of the Federal B, it currently plays in the Liga Sanjuanina de Fútbol, awaiting the new Torneo Regional Federal Amateur, which would replace the Federal C.

In 2011, in the "Bailando por un sueño" segment of the well-known Argentine programme Showmatch, the model Paula Chávez and her dancing partner Pablo Juin had as their dream to help the club financially. The couple was defeated in the semi-finals by Tito Speranza and Nadia Hair, but Paula Cháves nevertheless helped the club financially, although, as is only logical, not with as much money as if they had won the contest.
