Pontevedra Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football club based in the city of Pontevedra, Galicia. It was founded on October 16, 1941, following the merger of Eiriña Club de Fútbol and Alfonso XIII Club de Fútbol—the city's two most important clubs. It currently competes in the Primera Federación, the third tier of the Spanish league system, and plays its home matches at the Pasarón stadium.
It is the Galician team with the third-highest number of seasons played in the Primera División—behind Celta de Vigo and Deportivo de A Coruña—having competed for a total of six seasons between 1963 and 1970, five of which were consecutive. During that period, the team topped the league standings in November 1965 and holds the division record (shared with Córdoba C.F.) for the best home defensive record, conceding only two goals in 15 matches during the 1968–69 season. The club has also spent nine seasons in the Segunda División (the last being in 2005) and 36 seasons in the now-defunct Segunda División B; it is one of the three teams with the most appearances in that latter division.
