La Sociedad Deportiva Compostela, better known as Compostela or simply Compos, was a Spanish football club from the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia. It was founded in 1962 and the commercial company was dissolved in 2007. It was re-founded on the basis of the same sports club, with the same federation number but a different company in the register.

It was considered one of the historic teams of Galicia by history and tradition. It was the fourth team from the region to play in the Primera División, after Celta, Deportivo and Pontevedra. It is the third-best Galician team in the all-time La Liga table. It played in the Primera for four consecutive seasons, from 1994 to 1998. It achieved its best finish in the 1995-96 season, in which it was winter champion and finished tenth at the end of the campaign.

After several sporting and administrative relegations for failure to pay the debts it had incurred, the club was dissolved in the summer of 2007. Later, Sociedad Deportiva Campus Stellae, founded in 2004, acquired the trade name and the trademarks of Sociedad Deportiva Compostela.
